On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff members, families and students, I’d like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. Because of you, Peter Paul has experienced substantial growth, particularly in our capacity to serve more of our community. In an effort to better support our students, we have enhanced our services for PPDC parents and added a methodology for engaging more partners in uplifting the community. We have adopted a philosophy for community service, which requires equal participation and contribution from all involved. To ensure that students, parents and residents all have a voice in decision-making and that they are equipped with the essential skills to advocate for themselves, we have embraced a culture of inclusion.
This year, we prepare to reap the fruits of our labor and celebrate the successes of our growing Peter Paul family. 2015 is full of promise; a promise to serve more students and families. We promise to walk alongside those we serve in a collaborative effort to enrich our community from within. We also pledge to be responsible stewards of contributed support, while holding ourselves and our partners accountable to higher expectations and impact. I am excited about these commitments, because I have seen our students thrive. I have seen the smiles on parents’ faces whose family situations have improved because of their relationship with Peter Paul. We have been at the table with our vital partners and experienced the synergies that exist – synergies that allow us to keep and sustain our promises.
Now more than ever, I ask for the continued support of the broader Richmond community. Our city is only as strong as our most challenged community. The East End community is one of unlimited potential. Join us in uplifting this neighborhood and our children. In the heart of this neighborhood, Peter Paul is here to serve. We are strong, poised for growth, and dream of a bright future with you, all of our neighbors, by our side.
For that, and so much more, we are most gratefully yours,
Peter Paul Development Center
