PPDC’s programs serve the children, families, and senior citizens of the East End. The flagship Youth Program is distinctive in its model; attendance is required, PPDC tests each student to gain a baseline understanding of their academic skills, PPDC teachers and program assistants deliver academic lessons, and PPDC post-tests each child to determine progress. Additional vital programs include Richmond Promise Neighborhood, the Senior Citizens Program, and a food distribution program.
Your donation to PPDC helps transform the lives of children and their families in Richmond’s East End and is a lasting investment in the future of our community. 95% of the operating funds for PPDC come from our generous donors. Gifts of any size make a difference in the lives of those served by PPDC. There are a number of ways in which you can support the Center.
